The cortijo was built in 2005 and has new furnishings throughout. It has a large garden with a private swimming pool overlooking the spectacular Andalucian countryside. The white washed Moorish village of Frigiliana is just 10 minutes drive and another 10 minutes gets you to the lovely town and beaches of Nerja.

Outside
The quiet location is very relaxing. Extensive terraces provide sunny and shaded areas for eating, playing and sunbathing. The pool is large and private with an outside shower and there is a boules court.
The gas barbeque is set in an outdoor summer kitchen. Unbreakable glasses are provided for outdoor and pool area use.
The garden is extensive and private with citrus, olive and fig trees. It is surrounded by avocado and olive groves that create a tranquil setting.
Access
A car is essential for reaching the villa and for general use whilst in the area.
There is a regular, inexpensive and reliable bus service between Frigiliana and Nerja, and taxis are available locally.
A taxi to/from the airport costs approximately 55 euros each way.
In Nerja you can connect to a wide range of local and regional bus services.

Frigiliana is a traditional Spanish pueblo blanco (white village) situated 4 miles from the coast, to the north of the nearest town Nerja, in the foothills of the Almijara Mountains at the edge of the Sierra Tejada National Park.
Like any typical Spanish mountain village it is very compact, about a mile long, so all of its attractions are well within walking distance.
The villa is in the valley adjacent to the village, just a short drive away.

Special Interest
The caves at Maro are one of Nerja’s most famous features , about 3 miles along the coast to the east. The caves are open to visitors and contain a spectacular collection of naturally formed stalactites and stalagmites.
